- What skills or resources will I need to take advantage of these long-term opportunities?
- Who do I know who is already in this career and can give me an honest “insider’s” perspective?
- Will my friends and family support this new career endeavor?
- How long will it take to make a comfortable living in this new career?
- Do I have the financial resources to make this new career work? If not, how can I get what I need to feel secure?
- What struggles can I predict in my transition to this new career?
- What can I do now to minimize these potential struggles?
- What specific experience do I hope to gain in this career move?
- How will my previous experience help me in this new role?
- Is this career move one step in a larger plan? If so, what does this new career need to provide in order to help me move forward?

Definitely you have made a great reviews about the most important topic these days. To change your job it`s hard issue, especially when we are talking about experience. Money are not the greatest tool for motivation.
Great list! Not only should it help for self-assessment, but it also encapsulates some questions you might face in an interview for that career change.
This list of questions will definitely help someone who is contemplating to make that drastic carer change. I for one did not consider these questions when I had that move resulting to grave struggle at first. It is always good to be ready when making big decisions as it will affect not only your life but of your family's life.
