  • Like most coaches, it's best if you find one on referral. I'd Google search 'life coach' and add your location, i.e. "life coach boston, MA" and see what you get. Then, be sure to check out their sites, and get a feel for their style. Most importantly, NEVER pay without first having some sort of free consultation by phone so you can talk to them directly and get your questions answered.

I can also recommend all of the approved career experts here at CAREEREALISM.com. You can review their profiles. Some of them specialize in helping with work-life balance, should this be your main concern.

Best of luck. A life coach can be truly transformational, but only if you do your homework and choose someone who you feel certain can assist you.

A friend of mine strongly suggested that I find a life coach. How do I go about doing this?
