Food Service Managers

These managers work in hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and other establishments that require food service. Their core responsibility is overseeing the daily operations of an establishment in regards to food and drinks, as well as ensuring that customers have a wonderful dining experience. Other duties of a food service manager include ordering kitchen supplies and food items, human resources, budgeting, and customer service. The median annual pay for food service managers is $ 48,130, although managers that work in large resort hotels and exclusive properties may earn up to $80,410 per year.

Tourism And Travel Manager

Jobs in this field include cruise directors, tour managers, travel agents, and sales managers. If you choose this profession, you will be in charge of all factors related to travelling such as determining travel dates, modes of transportation, costs, destinations, and accommodation. You may also be involved in managing staff, sales and marketing, and supervision of guest entertainment. One of the main benefits of this profession is that you get to travel a lot, throughout the United States and the world. As a tourism manager, expect to make between $32,000 and $124,616 per year. In generally, in-house corporate travel agents and approved travel agents fall in the latter earning bracket.

Human Resource Manager        

As a human resource manager, you should expect to deal with all issues that touch on employees including recruiting, hiring, interviewing, firing, and conflict management, among others. The median pay for professionals in this field is $99,180 per year, although those working in large resorts and exclusive properties may earn up to $166,400 per year.
