CAREEREALISM has evolved out of an internship project involving some passionate University of New Hampshire students and led by career strategist and syndicated advice columnist, J.T. O’Donnell. Together, they brainstormed ways to use a blog to build awareness around the professional challenges students face upon graduation. In short, they wanted to find a way to help close the knowledge gap between college and career. Meet the team…

Why CAREEREALISM: I wanted to create a tool that anyone could use to help them learn the realities of the workplace. Too many people (employees and managers) are using outdated approaches to career and workplace development. This site will offer some new perspectives.
Most Valuable Insight: When people share the same passion for an idea and have great respect for each other, age and experience become irrelevant.
