Dear Experts,
I’ve been late for work repeatedly. My boss sat me down last week and said if I’m late again, I’ll be fired. Since then, I’ve been a total wreck. I can’t handle the pressure of being there at exactly 8:30am every day. I need this job, but the anxiety I’m feeling is really getting to me. Any suggestions?

thjanks, Mike!
In one sense it does mean “coping”; and while doing so, as you wrote, ‘staying positive and seeking to better your life and yourself’.
While ‘weathering the storm of disorder and anxiety’ if that’s what it is, you ARE learning which contributes to your personal and professional advancement. Consider it your opportunity to practice patience, develop skills, expand your awareness; and if you’re the “glass half full” person, if nothing else, it’s an opportunity to improve your sense of humor, yes?
Hope this helps!
That is a great analogy. Reading further into the analogy I assume that “weathering” a storm doesn't mean “coping”, but rather staying positive while constantly seeking to better your life or yourself. What are your thoughts?

As chaos of a storm brings nurturing rain for life to flourish, so too is personal advancement preceded by disorder & anxiety. Success comes to those who can weather that storm. That “success” by and by may also be disguised as loosing your job in order to push you to find another – maybe this time the right job – one that puts a bounce in your step when heading into work.
