Dear Experts,
I was at a networking event last night and someone I met told me she got her new job by sending out a personal newsletter to all her networking contacts. I’m fascinated by this idea, but don’t want to send out anything stupid. Do you have any ideas/resources on how to do this properly?

Q#354 Agree with @CareerAdvMoney, you are better off with a personal message or phone call. (@gradversity)
Q#354 Personal email, phone call, handwritten update FAR better than newsletter, esp if u give them value too. (@juliaerickson)
Q#354 Newsltr is impersonal, try an email 2x/mo w/ an update, tips/links & and invite them to share the same. (@TaiGoodwin)
