T.A.P. Q#372 – New Owners Cut My Hours – Bad Sign?

November 13, 2009 by sparktalk

Dear Experts,

We got new owners at the place I work at. Since they’ve arrived many changes have been made, the majority of them for the better. One change is not for the better though. They have cut my hours in half!

Is this a sign they are trying to get rid of me? Is there anything I can do to ensure my job stays safe?

Q#372 If this happened to all staff, then I wouldn’t worry. But if you were the only one cut back, it’s more troublesome. (@gradversity)

Q#372 Make sure you’re performing your best! Is your resume updated just in case? (@beneubanks)

Q#372 Don’t guess. Speak to the new owners abt. it. xpress interest in addtl. projects to increase hrs. (@DebraWheatman)
