Dear Experts,

When you’re filling out online job applications and you’re asked for a salary/hourly wage for a previous employer and if your prior employer was paying on a per project basis, what should you input?

Especially since most web forms only accept hourly/salary inputs with numerical values.

Here is how our CAREEREALISM-Approved Experts answered this question on Twitter:

Q#412 Put down a combination of an annualized value and what you think is reasonable for the position. (@gradversity)

Q#412 Extrapolate annual salary from project pay. if proj took 3 mos, multiply x 4. Salary btr than hrly pay. (@juliaerickson)
