Can't Wear Suit or They'll Know I'm Interviewing

Dear Experts, I currently have a full-time job but have been looking for a new one over the past few months. I finally landed an interview but it's during my lunch break tomorrow. My current job has a casual work environment so I'm able to wear comfortable clothes. My problem is since I have an interview tomorrow I'll need to wear a full suit. I don't have enough time to change before the interview and if I wear a suit to work everyone will know what's really going on. What do I do?   Here is how our T.A.P. experts answered this question:@askamanagerQ#163 If you know they'll say no (& it sounds like they should) don't ask. You're not obligated; help the charity in other ways. @tmonhollonQ#163 Wear jeans, an untucked oxford, and stop somewhere to change to suit pants, jacket, tie once you leave the office. @beneubanksQ#163 Squeeze 5 min 2 dress N car or place en route. That's how I did. Coworker Q's R SO annoying when dressed! @ValueIntoWordsQ#163 Interview suit in car; lv 5 min early; change at McDonalds; c'mon, you can 'make it happen! @dawnbugniQ#163 Make time 2 chg. Bathroom en route, change in car? Find way to not show your hand AND make good impression. @louise_fletcherQ#163 Can you request a longer lunch so you have time to change? @askamanagerQ#163 Make time to change before/after the interview. Take off additional time if needed to make it happen. No other options. @gradversityQ#163 I would suggest taking a personal day. It solves your problem while allowing you additional time to prepare. @jtodonnellQ#163 Tell'em you're going to a wake after work (kidding). Change in car or fast food restaurant - just do it! @ValueIntoWordsQ#163 Or, wear dress shirt & pants 2 work; add suit coat/accessories (tie/jewelry) after u depart 2 interview Our Twitter Advice Project (T.A.P.) is no longer an active campaign.
