Can you tell me the best way to answer: “If we hire you, what would your 30, 60, 90 day plan be?”

I was asked this today in a phone interview. Thinking back, I most likely didn’t answer it as strongly as I could have. The interviewer posed the question in the following context: “I’ve told you a little bit about the job and company. Knowing you haven’t worked here, what would your 30, 60, 90 day plan be?”

I want to be prepared for this one the next time around. I’m thinking others would benefit from the answer to this.
